2016 is poised to be a hearty year for Chef Brian Howard as he takes his craft off the Las Vegas Strip and into the neighboring Arts District community this fall to helm his own kitchen with the introduction of Sparrow & Wolf. Howard spent the past 14 years showcasing his talents and earning accolades in Las Vegas and Los Angeles working for acclaimed chefs including Thomas Keller, Kerry Simon, Andre Rochat and most recently David Myers where he served as Corporate Executive Chef . Originally hailing from Detroit, Howard worked at the City’s first four diamond/four star restaurant, The Lark.
Howard has received countless accolades and praise for his cooking in such as being honored and cooking at the Legendary James Beard House, featured in such publications as Food & Wine, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, La Times, NY Post, Playboy , Saveur and Men’s Health as well as appeared on a handful of national television programs, most recently serving as guest judge on the FOX program “MasterChef Junior” and Food Networks Chopped and winning the competition on fyi, Network’s “Late Night Chef Fight
